Kat Wells
Kat Wells is an indie folk singer-songwriter known for her timeless and vulnerable storytelling. Her 2024 debut album, “The Waiting,” produced by Billy Smiley (WhiteHeart), blends her americana songwriting with modern, abstract soundscapes.
In 2023, Wells won Best Overall and Country/Folk/Bluegrass at the Mid-America Music Awards with her single “In It for the Gold,” which she also performed on The SPIEL (Fox23).
She recently collaborated with legendary guitarist Phil Keaggy and pioneering artist of the Jesus movement Honeytree on a new version of “Lovely Jesus.” Wells will soon release her upcoming EP, “Twenty Something,” a reflective collection shaped by her early influences like Sting and Bruce Springsteen while exploring themes of fearless living, authenticity, and self-discovery.
